The Black Walnut Inn

Our room was a suite with a separate, spacious living room, a large bedroom and a nice bathroom plus small kitchen. The design of the rooms were excellent; you could see that a lot of effort has gone into making the rooms a nice place to stay. The living room and bedroom were both very comfortable and everything worked well. Check in was easy and you were asked to choose your breakfast time and menu, which worked well for us. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked, served in the stylish dining room. The lady who cooked and served breakfast was charming. We were able to walk to a local restaurant for dinner. We thought this was a great place to stay and we would happily return if we were in the area.

Everything worked well for our needs. Thank you!

The Black Walnut Inn was a perfect spot for my 10 year old and I to stay on our trip to the Valley to visit my alma mater. It was well designed and appointed, but also very relaxed and cozy. Breakfast was wonderful - we ate on the porch and watched the falling leaves. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd stay again for sure.

I can't think of anything we didn't like.

Excellent experience in every way. Great location, great room, wonderful breakfast and staff.

Wonderful New England feel with a touch of modern amenities and color. Perfection!

All good.
