Carpet seemed old but rooms were clean

The location is convenient with Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Chipotle, McDonalds and Barnes and Noble near by (we had a car). The breakfast staff was friendly and always restocking items that were low. There was a great selection for breakfast - waffles, eggs, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, bananas, apples, oranges, bagels, muffins and juice. I love how they also have easy take out options - wrapped bagels and muffins, and especially how the breakfast room was always open. I used the breakfast room to do work at night and the large conference table in the lobby, while my family slept in the room.

The rooms smelled a little musty. The cleaning is every 3 days, but we weren't sure exactly when they were going to clean so we missed tipping the cleaners one day. They cleaned after 2 days, which was nice, but we felt bad b/c we didn't leave a tip for them. The cleaning staff were always super friendly. They always greeted us as we passed by and we could always ask them for anything we needed.

The toilets didn’t work. We checked into our two adjoined rooms.. neither toilet flushed. Moved to two other adjoined rooms and only one toilet flushed properly.
