Very well kept and preserved mansion, impeccably clean, good expensive mattresses and thick clean towels. Fantastic couple runs the place and serve fenomenal breakfast, all fresh produce from farms around masterly prepared. Forgot to ask why it says “Welcome” in Swedish. Must be some story behind.

Very pleasant experience staying at the Amherst Inn. Christine and her husband (John?) were excellent hosts and our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast the next morning was excellent! We will be back for sure whenever we will be in this area.

Such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Felt welcome right away. Easy parking, beautiful yard, and lovely home with a lot of history and unique features. Breakfast was perfect! And it is walking distance to so many attractions.
