Act fast to reserve this beautiful beachfront vacation home! This listing is for the upstairs "Barefoot Hideaway I" unit. Barefoot Hideaway is nestled back off the road and is right on the beach. The unit shares a building with "Barefoot Hideaway II" downstairs. Each unit has it's own private, locked entrance while having a common outer entry and laundry area. Each separate unit sleeps 10, or rent them together to sleep 20! Please inquire to rent multiple units. This vacation complex is on a truly beautiful and private part of the beach, and yet is minutes from downtown St. Augustine, Matanzas Inlet, and all of the area attractions! This three bedroom, two bath unit is completely reconstructed and freshly finished in modern beachy decor to create the perfect vacation environment. It features an large back porch which overlooks sunrises on the beach and doubles the living space. Three bedrooms are outfitted with comfortable furnishings, and baths and kitchen are fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. The living area is light and bright and includes a dining area and a pull-out Queen bed. And the best part of all....Step out onto a little short boardwalk that takes you over the dunes and through your private gate onto the beach! Beach supplies such as beach chairs, towels and cooler are provided. The bathroom faucet and toilet paper roll were loose and we think there may be a leak above the middle blind in the living room as there were water droplets on it during the rain

Was a great place to stay. Just a short drive to downtown, yet far enough away for uncrowded beaches. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the view from the porch. We would stay here again!

We spent a wonderful week at this home. 9 of us fit comfortably on the upper level. All the appliances were modern, the beds were comfortable. What I liked the best is the balcony that had ocean view. It is amazing to have your coffee and watch the sun rise above the ocean. There are some great restaurants even walking distance. The grocery stores are 5 minutes away. The beach is clean and was not crowded in March. We definitely would love to come back again.

We enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Hideaway. It's very comfortable and we highly recommend the place. We appreciate the fact that the host keeps the property clean and well maintained. David, the host was very responsive and graciously accomodating our certain request. My suggestion maybe to replace the pots and pans to make the guest's stay more enjoyable. We hope the host continues to provide the excellent service for the guests.

We wanted a house directly on the beach - this one was especially nice as was the beach. Wide sand beach with high dunes that gave the beach a very natural feeling. The house was exactly as described and pictured. We would rent again.

Had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at our beach house. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook up a meal. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The best part was the porch deck. Beautiful views of the ocean and I watched sunrise each day from it with my coffee! Would definitely go back to this house again! Thanks for a wonderful stay ?

Property was exactly as advertised. Beach is a short walk away on the boardwalk. We stayed in the upstairs unit. Interior was nicely decorated and updated. Appreciated the laundry facility. They provided basic supplies such as dishwasher pods, trash bags, shampoo/conditioner. Loved the deck and the ocean view. Beautiful sunrises!

Although I have lived in Florida most of my adult life, I have never been to the St Augustine area. We really liked the house as well as the beach. The beach was one of the better beaches that we have been to and the house was right on the beach. Although the house was about 25 minutes from the "downtown" part of St Augustine, it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. The house was as advertised, very clean and well stocked with the essentials (except maybe TP). We would highly recommend this house and plan on coming back in the future. The price was fair as well. The only recommendations that we would make would be to include more TP (gave us 4 rolls for 9 people over 3 days), 2 of the 3 doors were tough to close (including the main door to the house), and we could not get the dishwasher to work. I only mention this as suggestions to the owners to make a great place perfect.

We loved this property! It’s in a great location-quiet part of the beach but still close to stores, restaurants, downtown, etc.

We had a great time at this property. The beach was beautiful and the access was very convenient. The house had everything we needed, and the enormous back porch was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or to relax and listen to the waves at night.

Interior was understated and easy to enjoy and the Birthday Girl was very comfortable in the master BR with attached bathroom. We had a blast!

Barefoot Hideaway was simply amazing!
Barefoot Hideaway was the perfect place for our spring break. It was clean, the view was breathtaking and we loved that it was right on the beach. TJ host was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. We will definitely be coming back again. We highly recommend booking this house for your next beach vacation!

The upstairs unit was quiet with good layout for 4 adults. The unit is in need of attention. It would benefit from a complete interior repainting, better quality linens, deep cleaning especially of the windows, sills and light fixtures. I would also recommend a box of tissues in each bath and more than 3 rolls of toilet paper.

The best beach rental there is!!!
This was our second time staying here and we will be booking again for next year! We love this place so much and are always sad to leave. The balcony offers the most beautiful and peaceful scenery. There is nothing better than waking up to the ocean waves! This place has everything you need and more. It’s spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beach is a quick walk down the boardwalk. What else could you need? We can’t wait to come back!
