The Keep Eco Rooms

The location was very convenient, not far from Salzburg Central Station and close to bus stops with easy connections to the main attractions. Mirabell Palace was also within walking distance, which made sightseeing very easy.

We booked a room with a private bathroom and assumed it would include a toilet. However, the bathroom only had a shower, while the toilet was shared outside the room. This was a little unexpected and could have been made clearer in the room description.

Absolutely loved staying here. The fact that everything is vegan and eco-friendly makes my vegan, eco heart very happy. It's nice to stay in a place and not have to worry whether the products are vegan or cruelty-free. The restaurant attached to it is also vegan so I didn't have to worry about finding somewhere else to eat. I loved the bunk beds, the storage boxes, and the branches everywhere holding up the wires and lights. There were plenty of sockets, and my room had a sink too, which was great. The kitchen has a shared fridge and I was glad they had a pen attached to it for you to write your room number on because I forgot my marker pen. The radiator in the room heats up really quickly. Also very grateful for the lift! I injured my leg hiking down from Werfen ice caves so the lift was a life saver! Everything was very clean. It was a ten minute walk to the central train and bus station, and a five minute walk to the supermarket, Billa. There's a Spar in the train station too. It's also only ten minutes from Mirabell Palace and gardens and maybe a 15/20 minute walk to old town, so it's a great location. The staff are very quick to reply to messages. I hadn't received my guest mobility pass, so I messaged them, they contacted the city of Salzburg and I had the ticket within half an hour.

My room was right next to the shower room and toilet so whenever someone used either, there was a loud gurgling coming from the sink pipes in my room. It was a rude awakening at 5 a.m. when some early bird had a shower! The drain in the shower room smelled a bit too.

Simple, location, eco friendly.

The beds were a little hard.
