The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the best thing was the location right next to a mall and train station while in walking distance from the main old town. It was beautiful experience

We stayed 2 nights in June and loved many things about this hotel. First, it was very close to the train station, which made coming and going with luggage very easy. They included a local bus pass, which was so nice, but we ended up walking to all the locations in Salzburg since they weren't that far from the hotel.
The rooms are small but adequate, and the beds are comfortable. The shower is like being in a rainforest with such a large shower head. There is also a hand-held wand that is very convenient, and we always had plenty of hot water.
We purchased the breakfast and were very glad we did. It was so convenient and delicious. There was a good variety, very fresh and of high quality.
The staff was very kind and accommodating. We were able to keep our luggage in their on-site lockers since we had a tour booked for the last day and would be back after check-out. We enjoyed our time at the Cocoon and would stay there again.

Extremely convenient to the train station, which was our initial reason for choosing it (easily walkable distance even with luggage). Room was comfortable and staff was helpful and pleasant.
