The property was amazing, beautifully decorated, luxurious spa, and the rooftop terrace was incredible. The location was really central and the staff couldn’t do more for you. I’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location. Staff are excellent and knowledgeable of the area (places to eat, visit etc), they can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are beautifully appointed with excellent facilities and toiletries. The location is extremely central and in walking distance to many excellent restaurants, bars, bakeries, cultural activities and coffee haunts. Would recommend and will definitely book again.
Loved everything. However, do not book if you are not able bodied or have mobility issues. There is no lift and the stairs are winding/narrow. Not an issue for us but worth taking note of.

Good location. Quiet area, and handy for cathedral and edge of the main tourist areas. Clean and well presented room. Comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful - extensive comms before arrival (though what was discussed didn’t always translate into reality - see below).
There were several messages exchanged through booking.com, and a phone call. These centred around the fact that reception closed at 9pm and we needed a code to let ourselves in because we were arriving around 9.40pm. Odd for a hotel.
I’d agreed to pay for an upgrade to a larger room but it turned out to be dominated by a large free-standing bath, sinks and mirrors, and it had no separate shower. This was disappointing.
We had agreed breakfast on the terrace on the first morning and headed up the steep narrow stairs to the top to find a very small and slightly sad terrace, two tables with the remnants of previous breakfasts still there, and no staff or phone down to reception. The long walk down to reception (no lift!) revealed that they weren’t expecting us to have breakfast. We gave up on that and went out.
The helpfulness and kindness of staff were always apparent but there don’t seem to be systems in place to ensure the reliable delivery of what is agreed.
The place functions more like an AirBnB than a hotel.
