Oceanfront Fire Island (Lonelyville - Dunewood) 2-Week Minimum

the 90's. Rated one of the ten best island beaches in USA.

Getting there:
1-hour, 10-minutes by train, car or private van to ferry dock from New York City, or 15 minutes from Islip airport. Then it is just a 25 minute relaxing ferry boat ride to Fire Island. Less than a ten minute walk to house once arriving to the island.
Car free island, only bicycles. A safe place for children.

Additional Usage Fees & Taxes
1. Electricity is metered. I do allow a $25. per week credit
2. Cleaning service at end of rental varies from $200. to $250. paid from the security deposit.
3. Security Deposit required for any damages, electric usage, and cleaning $1,000. at time of arrival.
3. There is a 5.5-percent tax for the rental cost to be collected on the day of arrival (this fee might be collected from VRBO in advance)

This was our first time vacationing on Fire Island, what a lovely surprise. This quaint area is a relaxing escape from the cars and crowds of the outside world.
This homes location offers endless views of the ocean front, along with the convenience of being right on the beach. A wrap around porch deliciously beckons to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine while watching the surf roll in.
We enjoyed bike rides, walks along the beach to a neighboring town, wonderful restaurants and just relaxing on a beautiful ocean beach.
The house itself is bright, open and airy with up to date appliances and conveniences that make the house most inviting and comfortable. Bicycles and beach paraphernalia are provided.
The location is convenient to the ferry, shops, restaurants and a bay beach for swimming with children.

This was our first time vacationing on Fire Island, and it was a lovely surprise. The area is quaint and a relaxing escape from the world of cars and crowds. It was an opportunity to enjoy a slower pace, biking for groceries, walking along the beach to a neighboring town and just sitting on a patio listening to the crash of the waves.
The homes magnificent location right on the ocean front offers incredible endless views of the beach and ocean, along with the convenience of being right on the beach. A wonderful wrap around patio to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and afternoon glass of wine - while watching the surf - was delicious.
The house itself is sunny, open and airy with up to date appliances and conveniences-including bicycles and beach paraphernalia - for both adults and children. It is very well kept and comfortable.
The location is convenient to the ferry and town of Fair Harbor for restaurant, groceries and other small shops and a bay beach for swimming with children.

Fire Island is a place lost in time. Imagine a place without automobiles and the deer roaming free on the island not afraid of humans. This very comfortable house, it is well situated – right on the edge of a sand dune facing the ocean with 180-degree unobstructed views. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat.
