Delightful, would definitely recommend

It had a super nice charm and very easy going vibe to the hostel, was always nice and relaxed and the owners were lovely and helpful.

Only a small fan by the bed, so on hot nights was sometimes a struggle to stay asleep.

Dans l'ensemble très bien!

Bon emplacement, proche de la plage. Avec un billard! Ils filtrent de l'eau pour pouvoir remplir ça gourde. Personnel gentil. Lieu commun confortable, facile de se mélanger aux autres voyageurs. Chambre spacieuse et lit confortable.

La moustiquaire était trouée... on a rafistoler avec du sparadrap.

Alles in allem gut 😊

Die Lage war sehr gut, nah am Strand und an den Restaurants und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Unser Zimmer war gut, der Ventilator hat nicht funktioniert, wir haben aber sofort einen umso besseren als Ersatz bekommen. Das Moskitonetz war gut.

Der Garten sieht leider nicht so aus wie auf den Fotos und die Sitzmöglichkeiten sind sehr begrenzt. Sie sind eher das private Wohnzimmer der Mitarbeiter. Trotzdem hat der Garten viel Potenzial und kann mit etwas Arbeit sicher wieder etwas wohnlicher gestaltet werden! 😊

Emplacement idéal. L’auberge est bonne ambiance et les gérants sont très sympathiques.

Il faisait tout de même très chaud dans la chambre en journée mais le soir c’était supportable avec le fan.

Very nice place, surounded with trees. Nice and friendly owner, free pool table, hammocks, seats, sofas in the common outside area. Moskito net in the room, laundry service possible. There where also really nice local restaurants just some meters away.

Super friendly and chilled vibes in a lovely little part of the island

Great vibe for this lovely little part of the island, met some amazing people and the staff were really friendly. It was close to the beach and near the restaurants/ bars. Could have stayed here a lot longer!

Super chill stay in M’Pay Bay with helpful staff!

Location was beautiful and calm, distant enough from the beach to be quiet but close enough to reach the shore in a minute! Staff is super helpful and genuinely kind :) Loved staying here, we even extended our stay!

There’s no hot water but I guess it’s normal on the island! Also some hangers in the toilet could be helpful :)

Small and simple hostel

It's a small hostel which is nice.

No lockers for valuables. Hammocks weren't that comfortable. It wasn't very clean and organised.

Old style lovely hostel

This place had the most chilled out (old style) backpacker vibe. Neil, the owner, was always on hand and extremely helpful. He speaks Khmer and can organise any trip etc you require. The room was clean and had plenty of room for your luggage and a open wardrobe for your stuff. Laundry facilities, pool,, and a great space to hang out and meet new people 😀 this place is great value and friendly, we stayed 4 more nights as we couldn't drag ourselves away. A place for all ages to mix and appreciate each other.

Not much to be honest. Slightly more comfortable chairs for my old bones to lounge in as I'm too old for solid wood for too long and couldn't guarantee I'd get out of a hammock. A second bedside table would be lovely for a book and drink but that might just push this place into the flash packer bracket. 😄

Island life at its best

Location is nice, just off the main area, so its pretty quiet, staff are good, owner is a nice chill guy as well. The property is rustic and still being developed and has a nice simple charm to it, the place is pretty quiet in terms of noise, and there are places to hang out and socialise. I would stay at this place again if I'm ever in Cambodia again. Thanks guys
