the staff were fantastic and friendly.
there was at one point in my stay more staff around the pool than guests.
very chilled atmosphere - I'd absolutely stay here agin for 2-3 nights.
As its a brand new hotel there were some hiccups upon check-in that were resolved quickly and involved me moving to another room.
There are a couple of new hotel things : its hard to open the windows with how the curtains are hung and the rooms are one of the smallest I've stayed in a 5 star.
The service needs work, you can be staring at a waiter at the pool for 5 minutes or wave and in the end its just better to go to the bar and order. The air con takes a little while to cool down the room. I ran out of hot water one night.
Could do with an iron or a steamer already in the room.

The pool and courtyard are beautiful, it was wonderful starting the day with breakfast outside among the birds and sun. The breakfast was varied and high quality. The hotel was well located.
The room was very dated and not particularly comfortable. The bed was two singles pushed together and a very firm mattress. The key system was outdated and cumbersome (you can't take the keys outside of the hotel, and instead leave them with the reception).
