The location was good although it was a bit hard to find when we first got there. It was an easy walk down to the beach, shops & transport. The view from our room was excellent. We didn't use the beach but we did a couple of walks along it.
I felt the apartment we were in was pretty old and tired albeit pretty clean. I didn't find the furniture very comfortable and the kitchen cupboards were very old and not as clean as I would have liked.

We had booked two apartments for our family group, one was a ground floor "superior" 2 bedroom apartment and the other a 2 bedroom superior ocean view. While the ground floor apartment was very large and spacious, it was located at the rather dark and dingy back corner of the south building facing onto scrubby bush and overlooking the driveway into the carpark. There was limited outside seating and no outside dining area which was very different to any photos shown of ground floor apartments. It was very disappointing as we were expecting to be able to enjoy family meals together in an outside area. The security light situated directly outside ensured that the apartment was well lit up all night - some blockout blinds or curtains in the living area may help.
While there are three small tables with chairs around the barbecue area, this is completely impractical for families with small children as there is no fencing between a very deep pool and the bbq area. The bbqs really are rather useless, taking a long time to heat up and not really reaching a temperature for satisfactorily cooking meat. We were also disappointed with the lack of provisions such as garbage bags and dishwasher tablets/sachets. One of each is not sufficient for a 3 night stay!
On the plus side, the ocean view apartment was nicely appointed with a pleasant partial view out to the beach and looked directly onto the pool, although I can imagine it would get incredibly hot in summer as there is no blind to block out the westerly sun in the kitchen, and noise from the pool could become very annoying. Other than the lack of garbage bags and dishwasher tablets the kitchen is very well appointed and has everything you need for meals "at home".
The overall location is good, a 5 minute downhill walk to Burleigh Pavillion and the entrance to the walkway through the National Park. The tram stop and Burleigh Heads shops are 10 minutes walk. It is an incredibly busy area from early in the morning until late at night and if you are looking for a buzzing getaway close to bars, shops and the beach this could be the place for you.

Location, views (but have had better in this complex), pool/spa. Overall building reactions keeping things fresh.
Apartment itself: Kitchen was sparse & uninviting: no bottle opener(!!!), but two garlic crushers(??), no basic consumables (glad wrap, foil - GC stems to have a low standard on this compared with elsewhere but is a simple host differentiator), some plates/cutlery not clean & needed re wash. Basically a notable difference between Gemini and AirBnb kitchen basics. Main bedroom older furniture, 2nd bed clearly intended for kids; uncomfortable and not suited to adults but not advertised as such. Have stayed at Gemini many times over the years, this apartment on the lower end in terms of value. But at least it was clean and comfortable for a short break.
