Saddened and disappointed, did not meet expectations!
Clean Room and Bathroom
I never like to give a bad review because I believe in tourism in Ireland and how amazing people are here! It saddens me that, upon looking at the pictures on booking.com, I was expecting a spacious room and bathroom with an excellent breakfast, however this was not the case. I was showed to a room which can only be described as a glorified closet space. The room was no more the size of an average bathroom, had a prison cell atmosphere with dated and depressing wallpaper and paint. I'm not tall, average height and my feet were sticking out of the small childs size bed squeezed into the room, did not sleep due to hitting my knees and elbows off the wall. For scale, I've added a photo of my carry on backpack. The tiny room was claustrophobic, congested and absent of air conditioning, with a view onto a brick wall from a small window. The tv was nailed near to the ceiling and could only be viewed by lying on the uncomfortable bed. The sink was so close to the toilet and shower, only a gymnast could function in the facilities. There was left over water in the kettle and two half used toilet rolls. Only one average bath towel. The breakfast was lauded as 'excellent', however the porridge was tasteless and void of texture or flavour. Toast was cold and burnt, pancakes seemed fresh out of a packet but not even microwaved properly. Not to mention the clear lack of culinary presentation skills by presenting an orange slice with cream on top. In conclusion, I was saddened and disappointed that they felt this treatment was acceptable for a solo traveller. What they advertise and what I got were worlds apart. It's deceitful and duplicitous marketing! In the interest of integrity and semblance of remorse, a refund and apology would be the right thing to do.

Wonderful and Comfortable
Great hotel. Welcoming staff. Spacious family room with a cot option for my baby too! We were able to walk to St Stephen’s Green in ten minutes and another ten minutes we were right on Grafton Street. Very pretty block to come home to! Breakfast was delicious and so abundant options! The staff really did make this accommodation wonderful though, they even helped clean my baby’s bottles for me and swiftly provided a baby chair in the breakfast room. This will be our new go to for Dublin moving forward.

Great location, super nice staff. Good breakfast!
Really good Irish breakfast. Nice room with a bathroom - very historic traditional interior which absolutely loved. Great location - 15 mins to Grafton st. Near all the financial offices so was really nice, not too busy area at night. Nice for quick central stay.
