The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The motel is a close enough to the centre to walk, and the room was very nice and surprisingly warm.
The key downside was that, being at a corner between two busy streets, traffic could be loud, although most of the time it was fine. One thing that could be improved about the room we stayed in was the fan in the bathroom, which was very weak and took forever to deal with the humidity from showering.

Hurleys was clean and comfortable - wasn’t too far to walk into the main town.
Was a little bit rundown but nothing significant. In the rain it was a bit further to walk to, compared to being right in the city centre (but still not far).

Good size room
Bathroom door handle was very loose and was worried about getting stuck in bathroom.
Climbing in to shower was difficult for short people (5ft 3), needs a mat in bath as quite dangerous, slipped and hurt my hip
Fridge took too long to cool down once we turned the power on
