An amazing location. Montparnasse is now probably one of my favourite places to stay in Paris. Better than St Germain even. Everything you need at your doorstep, it opens into a lovely side street full of restaurants with a square just down the road with even more cafes and restaurants. It has multiple train stop options only a block or two away and several grocery stores as well as a self-serve laundry on the same block. Easy location for taxis to pull up. Staff were lovely. There were things for kids to play with in the lobby which my 3 year old loved. They had fresh cold water dispensers on each floor including sparkling water. My husband must have filled up 10 bottles during our stay, super convenient. We walked our way from the hotel to Luxembourg Gardens, through St Germain and all the way to the Eiffel Tower with our 2 young kids and it wasn't hard. It took as long as expected but it was a lovely day out and then a quick and easy train ride back to our doorstep at the end of the day. We also managed to squeeze in a stop by the Emily in Paris "apartment".
It was everything you want your Paris trip to be in terms of location. The room itself was a clean and basic hotel room, nothing super amazing but just as expected from the images and description.

Excellent location next to a train and metro. Easy to reach attractions by metro. Breakfast is handy😊
Toilet bowl blocking for flushing anything else then liquid 🤣
