Every part of the hotel was pristine, spotless, modern. Room was good size, bathroom lovely and bed comfortable.
Reception just needed to explain the breakdown of costs, tax & deposit etc

Really liked this hotel. Room was spacious with a great panoramic view of sacre Coeur. The bed was very large and comfortable with a really nice ensuite shower room. Good value for money in a nice area with good transport connections. Lobby area and grab and go cafe were nice.
Breakfast was expensive so we skipped it. Grab and go cafe was a good option but the coffee was sub standard and very pricey.

The lobby was big and spacious with plenty of chairs to wait in. Staff were very friendly. The north facing rooms had a great view over the city of Paris.
We opted to pay on arrival. Next time I would pay in advance. There was a big drama at check-in regarding prepaying for the stay, and supplying a security deposit for the room. I understand that, but it was very complicated and time consuming after a long day of travel. Next time I will pay more attention to the pre-check-in emails to avoid this situation. I should point out that there are more than 950 rooms in this hotel, so it was a very busy hotel. After doing the buffet breakfast once, we avoided it the rest of the time. It was too busy and there were long lines for coffee, omelettes etc, and they ran out of croissants. I count myself lucky though, as when I left the buffet there was a very long line of hungry people waiting to enter and get a table. Because we stayed in winter, it would have been nice if there was a sauna to relax in after a long day of shopping. The shower in our room was great for water pressure, but it didn't have a door and leaked on the floor. There wasn't a fan either so the windows soon fogged up to block the city views. When it came to cleaning the room, we experienced random incidents where they didn't refill the bodywash dispenser, or one time replace the towels (subsequently, it took 3 calls over a 12 hour period to finally get towels sent to our room) - so we had no towels for a whole day. To top things off, when we checked out we were missing a pair of pajama bottoms. We suspect this got mixed up in the bed sheets and went off to the laundry never to be seen again. They also had tablet devices in the room as the guest compendium, and for contacting reception. The only problem was that when we checked in, the device had not been cradled properly so the its batteries were flat. Thankfully they did have a WhatsApp channel for contact. The city views and friendly staff saved this hotel in receiving a good review from me.
