Finding hotel car park was a bit difficult

The lady who watched the hotel in the afternoon was wonderful and helpful. She was kind enough to check in our room when our dogs were making noise to calm them down. We were not aware that we were not allowed to leave them and it would be great if the hotel informed us of this policy on check in.
We paid quite a lot for the place, which was a nice suite. However, the eating area for breakfast was not very well kempt. It needs an update. There were supplies visible to the guests being placed under the serving tables.

The hotel was a good location, about 10 minutes walk from the old town. We left our car right outside the hotel and were able to unload our luggage. The helpful man on Reception gave us a fob and directions to access the underground car park close to the hotel. It was great to have parking, albeit for an additional charge, the car park is quite tight to manoevre in and there are 3 flights of stairs to get back up to street level. The hotel itself has traditional decor with wood floors, which we liked. The bed was comfortable. We also really appreciated the easily adjustable heating in the room as Burgos was freezing when we visited! We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment about the breakfast.
The only thing I can say is that we would have loved a kettle in the room but realise that this isn't usual in many European hotels. Everything else was great.

Location good to reach the best parts of Burgos. Staff very friendly
Car park was awkward to navigate around … so glad my husband was driving …. Breakfast adequate
