The lovely girl who checked us in was great. Very polite and chatty and just really nice. We rated her. The bed was really comfortable, had a great night sleep and only a short walk from the bus stop
It just wasn't a clean room. Mould on the bathroom ceiling, room smelt of damp and wet. Dust everywhere. Bathroom was so compact and had no shower curtain, so was impossible not to get water everywhere when showering. Curtain rail but no curtain. Curtain rail was just fully rusted too. Just felt dirty. Pillows were yellow and stained. Had a kettle with coffee and sugar, but no milk and or tea which was odd. Provided towels were tiny. Our room was in a separate building. When we checked out the main building where reception is was locked. Rang the bell and no answer. Rang the hotel, no answer. Rang a mobile number on a sign in their window for assistance, girl who answered was on holiday. I had a wander around the back of the hotel and found a door propped wide open. I went in and left the keys for the room at reception with a note written on the back of a sea life centre flyer. Just staff seemed sparse. Poor service really. A couple were waiting to check in as we left and they just had nobody seeing to them
