I really appreciated that the room was cleaned every day. Many of your competitors no longer provide daily housekeeping and may not clean the room at all during the entire stay, so this made a real difference.

I really enjoyed the location, because it was near the train station and so many local shops
My only complain was that the shower did not have any cold water. When outside there was a heat wave i would have really enjoyed the cold shower...

Convenient location on the main road, easy access to public transport and shops. Reception mostly willing to look into issues. Elevator useful if you have luggage. Shower water pressure was consistent and hot water supply was strong. Air con ultimately worked, just keep the window closed for added noise insulation against traffic.
Longstanding maintenance issues hadn't been addressed (room 103 window missing handle, frame hanging off window, air conditioning filter needed cleaning, dusty surfaces, paint chips off walls, towel rail covered in rust).
White paint marks on the pillow covers.
If your next door neighbour doesn't switch on the extractor fan, cooking odours spread through the shared vent to your room.
