I thought the facilities were good. The sauna was great, the pool was mediocre. The reception and building itself were gorgeous. The view from the bedroom was amazing.
I thought the quality of the breakfast was poor for a 5 star hotel. Western options were not of great quality. Also there were no scallion pancakes!
Breakfast was until 10.30am but from approximately 10am the staff were rushing us telling us breakfast was finishing soon. This was not enjoyable and made us feel like we had to finish quickly!
Our bedroom was beside the elevator shaft so we could clearly hear the elevator at night. This disturbed my sleep!
Also the pool was not very relaxing. There was awful country and western music playing very loud. We asked if it could be turned down but they refused.
Overall not a great standard for a hotel of its price.
