Clean and very comfortable, I slept very well. We booked a villa for the private pool and it was always clean and well maintained. Surrounded by olive and fruit trees, we loved our stay.
If I had one negative, the kitchen is a little outdated decor wise but this did not bother us.

If you're looking for authentic Cretan hospitality, Spilia Village Hotel and Villas is the place to be. The hospitality here is genuinely second to none.
Manos, Dora, Haris, and Geni—are extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and packed with great local tips. Loved our chats, laughs & felt like we have known each other for ages. A place made super memorable because of its people! The hotel has a wonderfully unique village boutique style that makes you feel relaxed instantly. Everything is kept super clean, the pools are pristine (and open late for a night dip!), and the food is delicious and generous.
One of our favorite memories was a magical evening listening to two incredibly talented musicians perform. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The property is situated in a peaceful little village. The pools are relaxing after a day at the beach or other adventure.
Our shower had next to zero pressure for the 5 days we stayed. I told an employee pur first morning and nothing was done. Also, some of the staff are a bit on the rude side. Telling us we can’t sit in certain chairs or that “because it’s your first day I suppose I’ll allow you to put up that umbrella”. They also seem to only care about getting you to buy their food and drinks and very much frown upon anything outside.
