Excellent!

Very friendly host, they try their best to let guests enjoy holiday. Local is a quiet area and easy to visit tourist attractions by Uber (3 $ to old town). Rooms are clean and comfortable. 24 hour reception is very convenient and safe. Wifi was smooth. A good supermarket was nearby.

The facilities were all old but that told us the history.

Feel at home at this comfortable, pretty Hotel

Antinea is on the edge of La Mariscal in a pretty tree-lined street. The building is old and beautiful and full of little nooks and crannies.

There is a bit of a boom from the surrounding neighbourhood. Especially on a Friday night, it seems! I could still sleep, though!

Highly recommend. Superb experience.

From initial booking Veronica was in WhatsApp and arranged my pick up from the airport. Unique hotel, I love it. Quirky, french style, you step back in time. Atmospheric, calming.

Excellent choice to explore Quito

We received a free upgrade for the room which had direct access to a small garden whilst our children could access the same garden in the adjacent room. Both rooms were really spacious . The hotel has a romantic, pleasant atlosphere with agood breakfast and nice places to relax both inside and outside. At breakfast we were offered, eggs, fruit, youghurt, croissants, juice, coffee, tea etc. Various restaurants are close by. The old town can be reached by taxi (or Uber).

Beautiful spacious bungalow with a surprising sprawl behind the walled facade. Wonderful staff and gorgeous interiors.

Excellent choice in the Mariscal

This is the fourth time I've stayed at Antinea, and I will stay again. This is a charming little hotel in a central, but quiet Mariscal location. Each room is different and charming. The suites are a good value. The bed liens are comfortable and warm. I appreciate the attentiveness of the staff including those who work late at night. The breakfast is tasty, with better than normal bread, coffee refills, eggs and fruit. Highly recommend for both families and solo women.

Highly recommend this hotel for the helpful and welcoming staff, beautiful property and location

The staff was very friendly, helpful and communicative when we needed to park our car and store our luggage for a few days while we were in the Amazon. The property is beautiful with unique rooms and lovely shared spaces, especially the balconies and patios. Well located and walking distance to many nice cafes and restaurants

Beautiful boutique hotel

The room was great with two comfortable beds. For us it was a one night stay for a transfer and we had to leave early before breakfast, so the staff arranged us some sandwitches with drinks which was so kind.

Great location, fast internet, cozy rooms

Very close to Plaza Fochs without any noise. Fastest WiFi of the trip so far with internet speeds of 75 Mbps. The courtyard was super peaceful with hammocks and a foosball table. The breakfast was great and it was convenient to the bus downtown, several restaurants, and a big supermarket a few blocks up the road. I would definitely stay here again.

it was nice Equadorian style hotel

The hotel is very nice located, several minutes to the city center by taxi. Staff were really nice and friendly, help us with a transfer from airport and with taxi around the city.

Just if you don’t have other options…

nice location

no hot water in our room. we had to go to other room in order to get a shower after 17 hour in flights and airport. the room was very basic ( too basic)

My stay was lovely as were the property and the hostess.

I very much appreciated the architecture of the building with its terraces and sitting areas as well as the unique charm of the rooms. Service was friendly and accommodating. Finally the location is perfect for visitors to Quito.

That I couldn’t stay longer.

What a wonderful gem

What a wonderful gem we found in the heart of the city. Our room was decorated in the most amazing way! In fact the house was full of wonderful art and unique architectural details. Breakfasts were quite generous and we especially loved the homemade yogurt. The street was fairly quiet and had mature trees which only added to the ambiance.

Great, staff was just terrific.

Staff were great. Breakfast was terrific. Location great. Very charming place in a neat neighborhood - the Mariscal - in an kind of overwhelming city, Quito.

The rooms are really close to one another, the walls aren't very thick, and if your neighbors are talking even at moderate volume, you're likely to hear them!

do not recommend this hotel!

the female administrator is angry, always with a displeased face, rude. the rooms are very cold. I lived in a suite with a fireplace - they won't give you firewood for the fireplace. do not recommend this hotel. I booked the hotel for 3 nights but left after 2 nights.

Nice short stay

Very good location. Breakfast was good. We had to check out early and they gave us a nice sandwich for the road. Staff very helpful.

Extra 6% charge for bank card payments

The central location with multiple cafes and restaurants with 5-10 min walk round a corner. The hotel is in the old historical building, but a little bit difficult to spot in the first instance by driving one-way single car road.

The main disappointment that the hotel applies 6% charge for payments with credit or debit cards, which is not mentioned in the description during the booking. Therefore we needed to find the cash machine to withdraw extra cash. Also the parking means that you drive into the narrow 2-car garage - the wider car than Hyundai Tucson will not fit. Because we have visited during the rainy season, then the rooms are cold enough to stay - at least a single electric heater would make huge difference, not only warming the room, but also drying it.

Just the location!

The hotel is very old and smelly! They gave me an awful room. No ventilation, dirty carpet and the smell was terrible. I decided to leave and when I did, the manager, mrs Veronica offered me a better room. Why she did no give me a good one in the first place?? This hotel is not trustful. I canceled the reservation and they didi not want to give my money back. Booking told me the coast of cancelation would be 61 dolars. But this Veronica person charged 325. They fool people with beautiful pictures of the hotel. It is not that beautiful at all.

The spacious room, modern hot showers, the ambiente of the casita, the terrace we had with our room, the green street where the hotel is located

The breakfast was very meager for the usd 70 we paid a night. In our room no 9, we could hear every word spoken in the reception hall, and every step taken in the room above. We changed room after two nights,but the other room was very dark and cold.
