Wonderful stay, would definitely return

It’s 800m from Shinagawa station, would recommend a taxi if you have a lot of luggage because it’s uphill.

l'emplacement de l'hôtel à 10mn à pied de la gare de Shinagawa: très pratique pour toutes les connections la chambre King-Size Deluxe - Étage Supérieur avec vue sur le jardin est grande , lumineuse,avec une vue très dégagée. Grand placard pour y ranger toutes ses affaires : pratique qd vous restez une semaine. le petit dejeuner tres bien avec un bon choix et une large vue sur le jardin un des restaurants /bar avec vue sur le jardin

la salle de bain un peu vieillotte et la chambre lit king size superieure avec vue sur la ville que j'avais réservé au début de mon séjour est trop petite : on ne peut pas ouvrir une grosse valise.... personnel plutôt froid

都心に日本庭園があり素晴らしい景色です。スタッフはプロで非常に親切です。一階の朝食のカフェラテは外の庭を見られ雰囲気が良くメニューも和洋融合ですのでお美味しいです。部屋も広くて快適な滞在でした。

Always meets my expectations, great place to stay!

Front desk staff kindly let all of my family stay on the same floor. We were able to visit each other anytime. Price of the hotel is reasonable which offers excellent restaurants (great light dinner and breakfast buffet!) Beautiful garden with bamboo light display and Koi fish. Bed is comfortable and the staff is always kind, friendly and professional.

Nothing. The room may need some upgrade but everything was excellent.

My favorite hotel for a short stay after/before a long flight to and out of Tokyo.

This is my go-to hotel in Tokyo for a brief stop after/before a long flight to and out-of Tokyo. I understand that the facility is a bit old and may need upgrade but you can't beat the price! It's always very clean and staff is super nice and professional. I love their breakfast and breakfast room is relaxing and has a great ambience. It's very close to Shinagawa station to catch a train or Shinkansen and to/from Haneda Airport.

Everything is great for the price! Only thing would be to offer their room service to the guests again.

Great hotel with location and views

Nice, clean, perfect location. Having great breakfast buffet… friendly and supportive staffs. Find out this hotel have an amazing Japanese garden, too!

The Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa is a very peaceful hotel nestled next to a big transport hub

My favourite hotel in Tokyo - loved the zen garden, the tranquil setting, the essential oils aroma and the discreet nature of the staff. I also loved the club room, and the onsen.

A very good hotel for the price with 5 min walk to a main station

It has a really nice lobby, the rooms are nice, washrooms are also clean. There was good water pressure. The best part is it's close proximity to the shinigawa station from where you can take the shinkansen or other trains.

The shower water kept going to cold from hot. Other than that there isn't much I didn't like.

Beautiful garden and close to Shinagawa station

Room was spacious, beautiful garden, breakfast had a great variety of food for both international and japanese guests. It is also close to Shinagawa station, so it is convenient if you will be using public transport. It is very easy to go to and from airport from there.

プリンスホテル間を巡回バスがあって品川駅まで異動するのに利用した。朝、庭園を散歩して良かった。

ディナーが高すぎて手が出ない。朝食のブュッフェは妥当であろう。

It was a very nice stay because of the beautiful hotel, lobby area, and excellent staff.

It is a beautiful hotel with an excellent front desk staff who were very courteous, friendly, and attentive. The other hotel staff located nearby the front desk that handled luggage, answered questions, and provided very helpful information was also excellent. They arranged for kuroneko delivery by completing the form for me, provided the box, and sealed the box with tape. That was a very good service they provided me.

I would have enjoyed it more if breakfast was included with the room without an additional charge. Also, it would have been better if the television had a selection for a dedicated channel that provided a 24 hour English news station such as NEWS NATION, FOX, CNN.

The hotel staff was very polite and efficient. Very quick response if needed

When I came to check in, the taxi stopped me at the other Grand Prince which is 300 metres away from the other Grand Prince. I reached the hotel around 1 am and I expected someone to drop me at the other hotel.

Good value, staff really nice, rooms perhaps a little dated

Good area of town near shinagawa train station, staff super helpful to me when my flight was delayed. Room was clean and cozy

Some people on booking.com have been complaining about the bedrooms being a little dated, this is probably true but I didn’t mind as I thought the rooms were priced accordingly. Two things the hotel could do to improve guest experience, have an on-site coffee shop (the current cafe charges 14,000 yen (le Triannon) for coffee which is ridiculous. There’s not many cafes around so a good cafe on-site would be great. A shuttle service to the airport or at least let guests know about the shuttle from the Prince Hotel. We hauled our suitcases the 10 mins uphill walk from Shinawaga on arrival which wasn’t what we were expecting after a long flight

Toller City-Blick

Wir haben einen super Deal für eine Nacht in dem Hotel bekommen. Die Lobby war sehr schön und der Garten war auch besonders. Ein sehr netter Mitarbeiter hat uns dann bei Ankunft zu einer Suite im 15. Stock upgraded. Das Zimmer hatte alles was man braucht und war riesig. Von dort hatten wir einen tollen Ausblick auf den Tokiotower. Das war auf jeden Fall noch ein Highlight für uns in Tokio.

Wir wollten gerne einen Croissant oder Obst zum Frühstück aufs Zimmer bestellen Bzw aus dem Hotelcafè mitnehmen, was leider nicht möglich war.

Overpriced and overrated

The hotel garden and reception areas were pleasant. The location was also good for Shinagawa station and the airport.

I originally booked into the adjoining Grand Prince Shin Takanawa, where the rooms were small, dated, smelt of mould and had limited facilities (for example, a 7-11 in the basement and a communal microwave). I then transferred to the Grand Prince Takanawa where the rooms were cleaner, but more like a motel than a luxury hotel. Very overpriced for the quality of the rooms, given that you can get much better and cheaper accommodation elsewhere in Tokyo, and seems to be just relying on the conference venue to bring in the customers. Wouldn't book privately.

Will definitely stay at the Grand Takanawa Prince Hotel again in the future.

Room was small by U.S. standards, but clean and well appointed. The location was good for our family events, and Shinagawa Station is a short walk away. The shuttle bus, which runs between the sister hotels in the area, brings you close to the Shingawa Station. This location, however, is not close to central Tokyo. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel & comfortable hotel with good restaurants

The environment around the hotel was so pretty. The landscaping , garden , ponds, walkways … was nicely done up , neat and connected . I absolutely love it

Though the staff speaks good English but maybe we were not dressy enough so there was differentiation in terms of helpfulness , response to us…etc but overall it was acceptable and we took it quite light heartedly . Honestly they are not rude at all

The Perfect Relaxing Hotel in Tokyo (Close to Haneda)

Probably they are the best luxury hotel closest to Haneda airport. The garden at night is so charming. Perfect place to relax (no mosquito!) The staff were exceptional. We forgot something after we checked out - and the front lady went above and beyond to locate it and help us.

Currently, the shuttle service from the station is not available, but you can still take a shuttle from the Shinagawa Prince (across from the Shinagawa station - Takanawa exit). I believe it comes every 20 min.

Fijn hotel op een prettige locatie.

Mooie locatie met een prachtige binnentuin. Chique aangekleed hotel met vriendelijk personeel en een fijne badkamer. Ontbijt is goed alleen aan de prijzige kant.

De kamers waren erg oudbollig.
