Pristine clean, very hospitable, helpful and friendly host. Facilities were outstanding! Walking distance close to both cable cars and the village

The location, staff and amenities were great. Our unit was on ground level with a beautiful patio with flowers and amazing views. They left our snacks and coffee. They gave us lots of information and advised us about hiking and lifts. We used all their suggestions and hiked some additional routes we wouldn’t have known about. The apartment was well equipped and super clean. They stored our luggage on both arrival and departure, allowing us to use both days for hiking.
The reception break of 11-2 isn’t ideal if you arrive during that time. We took a very early train to get there before 11 so we didn’t have to keep our luggage with us. But, when we left, they graciously gave us a key card to access our luggage and the WC since we were departing during the break.
I would also mention it is fully uphill to the Villa Stella which wasn’t an issue for us as hikers. You could grab a taxi if you have luggage but anytime you want to go through town, you will walk the hill. But this is true of almost all properties in Ortesei.

Great views, clean but simple accommodations
Zero communication around how to get to them.
We ended up at a bustop with a. Nearly 1km uphill Walk over dirt roads to reach the hotel. Called and asked for help and they told me I should have gotten off in town and taken a taxi.‘great!
