The room was dark, the hotel was quiet and it was the perfect spot to recover from a sudden explosive illness. I didn’t eat breakfast but the staff were very nice and let me use kitchen utensils for my own meager food.
It was a bit far from the main square but that might have been because I had no energy and could barely walk 100m

Breakfast was delicious. Location was great. Nigora and her staff were fantastic. Nigora organised a driver to take us to Tajikistan for the day at short notice, and was very helpful with any questions we had about anything at all.
The air conditioning in the room seemed to turn itself off after a relatively short time. However, this was just a small inconvenience.

Everything in this hotel is made with great love. We felt very much like at home. Incredible hospitality! It was very thoughtful to put coolers with drinking water on the floors. It is something you need in Uzbekistan a lot.

Perfect little family run hotel, love the quirkiness, the tree in the courtyard and original features, especially the old radio and record player! Breakfast was tasty and beautifully set out on individual tables, which makes a change from buffet breakfast. We had an early check out and were kindly given a lunch box to take with us, which was appreciated on our train journey 😊
Also an ideal location for exploring Samarkand 🇺🇿
