Nice place, The Turf House Museum is very near.

Good breakfast, clean place. The Turf House Museum is very close by, recommend to visit as it close to the place. Lot of free parking place. Good bed.

You could hear Your neighbours, in case they a very loud.

Pleasant

Good location. Room was basic but clean and comfortable

No screens on the window so all the bugs came in when open. They had large groups staying and we couldn’t get a dinner reservation.

Nice location, clean room.

I liked the location and the whole area. The room was ok, clean and had everything we needed.

The guy at the reception told us that we can come and sit for a breakfast (that was included in the price) at 8:30. Apparently they had no room and other guests reserved a spot or whatever. then we agreed that we’ll grab some food and take it to our room (because we had to go to Husavik at 8:00). Next morning, the girl at the reception just told us to sit wherever, she was probably wondering why are we even asking that. Also, we could here whatever our neughbors were doing. I even heard a men snoring :)

Extradictory Guesthouse near Myvatn

Eenjoyed an unexpected excellent set dinner offered by guesthouse. The meal were excellent and higher than our expectation.

Can see aurora when visiting in winter time. Should select in next trip.

A bit expensive for what we got

Extensive for the standard but friendly staff.

The facilities in the rooms. Things were broken in the bathroom.

Nice stopp over for a night with breakfast and dinner.

Cottage was nice and clean. Good breakfast and availability for dinner (which was also good) and the main house is just some 100m away. Friendly staff.

Front of cottage (veranda) could receive more attention, to invite sitting outside enjoying the view.

A good stay with a lot of potential

Was in doubt between a 8 and 9. Went for nine because this place and the staff was really welcoming and I felt cozy during our stay. Breakfast is simple but nice. Landscape outside is really beautiful. Comfy bed.

Everything is a bit too minimal, basic toiletries are not provided (shower gel, etc.). The lights over the bed could have been placed higher, one risk hitting the head on it. I believe this place has a lot of potential to do even better ;)

Simply amazing

Amazing place in a great area. The apartment was so spacious and well designed, very clean and great facilities. I think we saw the best northern lights there. The guy at reception was also very sweet and nice. We really enjoyed our stay here, we stayed in 7 different guesthouses during our trip and this one was the best. Definitely staying here during our next summer trip in Iceland!

I loved the little cabin feel. I loved the toilet warmer in the bathroom. The beds were comfy. I loved that it was in a quiet location without too much light pollution. We were able to see the Aurora Borealis right from the end of the driveway!

Breakfast was not long.

Very nice and comfortable house for a good price and at a great location.

We really liked this place, very comfortable house for a group of 5 people. Nice kitchen and living room area, nice bedrooms and a good shower. Great location between Akureyri and Husavik. Parking outside was perfect.

The only thing we did not really like was that the house wasn’t completely cleaned before we got there.

PERFECT.

We arrived to this gueathouse one day before a big storm. They upgraded our room for free aince they have enough space. They let us stay for the atorm in the shared living room (which has games and netflix). They helped ua to cancel the next guesthouse which we couldn't arrice to, becauae of the storm. They add ua one more night in cheapest price. The breakfast was good, there is always free coffee and tea, the staff was really nice. It is highlly recommended gueathouse!!!!

Best place we have stayed during our 10 days around Iceland

Kitchen fully equiped Fantastic heater Shower good pressure and temperature Superb ubication, near touristic places but allows to catch aurora borealis Awesome personal, supportive, helpful and kind

Just to say something, restaurant closes a bit early (8 pm) if you are visiting touristic places during the whole day

The room was very comfortable and spacious. It was also well furnished and very nice. The staff were very helpful and answered all the questions we had before our arrival. They also stayed up very late for our check-in. Over all we enjoyed our stay very much.

The breakfast was good, but not exceptional.

Very large room, very clean. New furniture. I believe our cabin was also new. Silent area,

Property can accomodate many people so can become crowded at breakfast. Luckily not the case for us and they have breakffast time intervals to limit crowding.

Cute Guesthouse close to Husavik

Cute Guesthouse with quiet modern rooms, friendly staff and a very cute "teckel" dog who melted our hearts :-) Also very good located for whale watching tours in Husavik.
