Good for a budget stay

Price and location was good. Also cool discount for food in bar downstairs

Disappointing

friendly receptionist, good breakfast and good location

3 of the 4 nights that we stayed we had to ask for silence to be able to sleep on a spring bed that only gave us back pain. and at the time of the shower the water was boiling or freezing, there was no middle point

A cold, dirty and loud room in a convenient location with cheap beer.

We liked the pub downstairs which was a good deal with the discount we were provided through booking with hostel and the hostel was in a convenient location

Hostel was dirty. We booked a private room which was still filthy when moving in. Crumbs on bedside table, rubbish on floor. Shared showers were either boiling hot or freezing cold, no in between. Felt dirty the whole time there. Couldn’t use the kitchen due to how filthy. Too many long stayers that take over the place. No one monitoring the hostel overnight so the other guests were absolutely feral. Room was so so cold despite a tiny heater, room was 3°. Massive light shining on the sign of pub shining directly through window. From experienced travellers. Worst ever.

They have discounts on the bar for those stating at the hostel!!!!! The bar is reaallllyyy good!!

The smell of mould in the room, the bathrooms were faulty and shower head was leaking.

It is okay for few nights, was quiet at night, far from the CBD but if you want to go to St Kilda beach it is good location and easy to get tram here from CBD

The building is really old, shower water is hard to regulate, the bed was squeaking

Nice hostel, great location

Location and staff were fab ! Room was cosy and had everything we needed

The showers were hard to regulate, they were either very cold or very hot but only a small thing - I would still come back ! :)

climbing up and downstairs was very hard for me with a disability with my leg

waking up the next morning and knowing you can have breakfast except for when there’s no hot chocolate but that was okay. I just had a glass of milk.

Its been great, been here 6 weeks now! friendly staff, Thomas at reception was helpful

Toast and Cereal along with tea and coffee supplied for breakfast which is good. Bar staff very friendly Good bar environment

Pint on punt

FREE BREAKFAST saving money on one meal was great limited options but was still good BAR activities discount food and drinks for stayers friendly people BEDROOM SIZE was great loved having a sink to fill water bottle after kitchen closed

LOCATION it was quite but far from CBD, but tram just down the street. Coffee 7/11 pubs all in walking distance STAIRS narrow and tricky with large luggage BED I'm a light sleeper, it creaked with every turn waking me up through the night pillows were very flat to nonexistent KITCHEN just smal difficult to cook with two people in same spacel discount at bar for compensation

It was okay

I liked that there was breakfast and that you can use the kitchen 24/7. It is cool that there is a bar under the hostel where you can go to.

This actually has nothing to do with the hostel but it is kind of unsocial, there are more anonymous people who don’t really talk to you. This was kinda sad
