A lovely spacious high standard accommodation, excellent amenities including small homely touches. Janette welcomed us with a helpful tour of our apartment/outdoor area. Plus her tips of local amazing places to eat out too '😋'
The experience was a beautiful peaceful stop over for 2 nights. We would personally return again and highly recommend others to include this stay, amazing value for money.

Large,spacious & very clean. Lovely quiet location with beautiful views. An incredible welcome pack ( including chocolate) which provided an ample breakfast. Our hostess was so friendly & even found a book of local walks for us. The bed was huge and comfortable. A real gem of a find on Booking.com & already talking to our family about all returning for a weekend.
Slight smell of curry in the kitchen possibly from the previous occupants.

Janette is a very welcoming host and the property is lovely. We really enjoyed staying in the Woodland Apartment which was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. We liked the complementary breakfast goods in the room and particularly enjoyed the delicious Cumbrian cooked breakfast which can be purchased additionally if you let Janette know by 7pm the night before. Safe and secure car parking on site. Lovely countryside views, peaceful and relaxing. Loved hearing the lambs in the neighbouring fields and watching the birds on the feeders at breakfast. Graysonside is a good base for exploring nearby Cockermouth, Keswick and the Western Lakes. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay an extra night. We hope to return.
Just watch the Sat-nav because it sometimes thinks you can turn into the property from the A66, which you can’t. You could try the What 3 Words or use the postcode for Hundith Hill Hotel which is just up the road.
