This is a traditional and very popular pub with decent parking, a few minutes drive from Keswick. Our room had no noise from the pub, and had all we required and a good bathroom. We ate in the pub on two occasions and were very pleased. Braithwaite itself is small with few shops, but in a beautiful location close to the mountains.
Breakfast was not available in the pub, but there were 2 or 3 cafes nearby where you could get something.

I asked to change my room (see below) and was given a wonderful room at the top of the building and the remainder of my stay was perfect. I just wish I had been in this room throughout!
The first room I was in was rather small, overlooked the kitchen and was extremely hot and noisy due to the kitchen extract. I appreciate this is difficult to avoid, but I felt this room should be offered at a reduced rate.

Very big comfy bed, and delicious hearty food in the pub downstairs with lovely friendly staff. Very quiet area and up to date bathrooms.
