We have just a week at Brookfield with our dog Archie, cannot speak highly enough about the guest house . Lorna was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us it was so comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was amazing but too much for us.Archie had a sausage every day which he loved. We met some lovely people which made our breakfast time really lovely. Never been to the Lake District before but we have fallen in love with it. We booked for next June before we left, and can’t wait to go back . Lorna is now a friend she is amazing
The only thing we didn’t like was we wanted to extend our stay for 3 days but it was fully booked🥲🥲🥲

Lorna’s hospitality was second to none. She made us feel at home, baked a cake for my birthday and made awesome breakfast to start our days.

Lorna is a fantastic host. The breakfast was amazing. The bed was very comfortable we both had an excellent nights sleep and there was everything available you could wish for. Communication was perfect.

It was far enough from the centre of town, walkable (we told to take the old railway track which was a much nicer walk than along the roads.) Everything in our room that we could ever need, it was clean and tidy and well prosented. Seems like everything had been through of just in case you needed it.
Breakfast was lovely we had a good choice of food to pick from, hot or cold, tea of coffee.
There isn't any thing i would of changed.
