Excellent location, right on the forest, easy access to Caumasee walking trails, near restaurants and convenience store but felt so peaceful and quiet in the gardens around the pool. Cosy, good sized room, well stocked kitchenette, very clean.

The hotel apartment is centrally located in the Waldhaus area of Flims, with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. And more importantly it is close to the bus stop into Flims for the ski lifts. The host is very friendly and there is a nice little bar in the common area of the hotel, which has an honesty box to help yourself if he's not around. We requested breakfast which was a typical continental fare with juices, cheeses, meat, cereals and fresh breads and excellent value when compared to eating breakfast out . The apartment is a good size, with a separate kitchen area and a decent balcony. The host also gave us a few ski run suggestions. Overall it felt like staying at a friends house
My only complaint was that the shower was a little cramped, as you need to stand in the bath.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Another big advantage is the bus stop just around the corner, which makes getting around very easy and convenient.
One downside is the distance to the ski lift. It’s not within walking distance, but fortunately the nearby bus stop makes it manageable.
Unfortunately, the ski room had a very strong and unpleasant smell of gasoline, which was quite disturbing and should definitely be addressed.
