Location was excellent. Close to metro, bus stop. Lots of restaurants around.

The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast offered a great variety of options. The highlight of the hotel is definitely the onsen. After a full day of sightseeing, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The onsen was exceptionally clean and well maintained, making it a wonderful part of our stay. The hotel also offers coin-operated laundry facilities, which is a great convenience for travelers. Another plus is that there is a 7/11 store which is open 24/7 right next to the hotel The location is slightly outside the city center, but still very convenient. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and the ride to the center takes about 20 minutes. The nearest metro station is also within walking distance. Alternatively, you can reach the city center by taxi at a reasonable price. We were satisfied our stay.

Breakfast was great and staff were very nice! We were able to drop our bags before check-in and they brought them up to the room for us. The location was good too, though at the back-end of Nijo Castle, it was close to transit connections.
The pillows were small, the room was also dusty. When you removed your Key, it would also shut off the AC and more importantly the fridge.

Location and price was decent, a quick walk to the train station and beautiful Nijo castle. Bed was very comfortable and service from staff was great.
Room was too small to open suitcases, the bathroom lacked privacy and hard to navigate. I also struggled to get into bed as it was against the wall.
