It is greatly located. It has two access doors. It was available and relatively cheap to book. They accepted payment prior to arriving, so you know it is actually booked unlike other similarzly priced places that cancel on you at the last minute.
The rooms are quiet enough, but the doors are maybe a bit thin. If one walks down the hall, one can clearly listen to what other guests are doing and it can get very uncomfortable. I would imagine people traveling with children would have to answer uncomfortable questions later on.

Location! It was 5 minutes away from Taipei Main station so it’s like 30-40 minutes from the airport

Clean, big room, functionally furnished, perfectly located for taking the metro/Airport Express.
The ambience (or lack thereof). This place has the feel of a hospital ward. I could hear the comings and goings and the talking, including that of staff, outside my room. I expected to be billed in local currency and be charged a foreign exchange fee by my Canadian home bank, but it turns out there is an arbitrarily determined forex-billing in Canadian dollars; I will have to check out the financial consequences when I have the chance to do so.

The Good:
Staff: Friendly. Staff would check and send information before our check-in and after our check-in. Communication was well conversed.
Superb Location: Right by Taipei Main Station. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient and fun to explore.
Spacious: Our triple room had plenty of space for three people to move around and store luggage.
Free Amenities: Bottled water is provided in the room, and there are convenient water dispensers at both ends of the hallway.
The Not-So-Good:
First Impressions & Cleanliness: The hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building, but the 4th floor looks rather modern. Our room had a musty smell upon arrival, though leaving the AC on all day thankfully cleared it up. Housekeeping missed a few spots, as the glass shelving was visibly dusty.
Bathroom Leaks: Water leaks from the bathtub onto the floor after showering, even with the curtain tucked inside the tub. Keep your bath mat at a distance!
Inconsistent Tech & Comfort: We experienced occasional drops in both the TV signal and Wi-Fi. Bed comfort is a mixed bag: the queen bed was soft, but the single bed was a bit hard. Some people may not like the hard feel of the single bed.
