Convenient location near the Taipei Main (Railway) Station and the subway are both nearby. Lots of food choices both in the underground mall and near the hotel.
It has a coin-operated washing machine and dryer, which is very handy and the hotel has all day supply of coffee/tea and snacks at the reception.
Just to level set, it is a budget hotel - the rooms are basic but the common use areas have the amenities that are very handy when traveling - space to sit and have a take-in meal, washing machine, free all-day supply of snacks and coffee/tea.
It is great for a short stay especially if one intends to be out all day sightseeing and just need a clean place to sleep and relax in between the sightseeing activities. For the price the hotel charges, one cannot complain.

Great place that provides good bedding and pillows. They have a pantry area that provides free packet drinks, snacks, coffee and dining space that overlooks the main train station. Coin operated washing machine and dryer too.
No windows in the room. Bathroom has frosted glass walls, could not leave a light on as it becomes too bright to sleep.

So near Main station, food stores, 7/11, Family Mart, starbucks, MC do. Free snacks, coin wash/dryer, play area for small kids
Very small, ran down elevator to 5/f, old bathroom, shower room too tight, no windows,
$$$$
