Room was super.
Staff was wonderful.

The pool and spa are fantastic, and the staff very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay, and the hotel is beautiful.
Breakfast was a bit small/bland, and it seemed like there was a bit of a lack of staff, especially at the pool, the service was very slow.

Beautiful spacious rooms, comfortable in an historic place where modern design blends in perfectly. Professional service, excellent spa and pool.
Breakfast could be better organised, simple things like cold milk, cereals, yogurt should not have to better organised ordered via the waiters but be part of the buffet. In our case things we ordered arrived very late, orders got lost.

Decent amenities but quite worn down.
Fridge in the room wasnt working, lots of damage on the furniture, plugs next to the bed didnt work. AC in the gym the work in addition to very little equipment. Sheets were ripped and stained, asked them to replace it and then the staff was rude to me in the process.
More like 4 star vibe.
The staff didnt truly understand hospitality. Starting upon arrival “do you have a reservation” no I just walked in with my suitcase at midnight.
No towel or welcome drink (I’ve seen others get it).
food was missing from the in room dining, no service at the pool, staff wasnt welcoming or enthusiastic. Some didnt spea english (and kept speaking in portuguese nonetheless rather than grabbing another colleague to help out)
