Very good

Very clean, cozy and well-designed small room. It was like being in a first-class sleeper car. No complaints here: I'd been warned that it was on the small side, but was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and well-appointed it was.

The staff was, in general, a trifle impersonal. Didn't make me feel like I was anyone special. Except for the young woman at the front desk the morning I checked out, she was lovely.

Great base for a visit to Mull. Tasty food & beer on offer.

Great location on main high street overlooking the bay. Able to park outside the hotel at no cost. Ideal to use as a base for day trips around Mull. Good & tasty food available in cosy bar & restaurant

Snug historic hotel right on the harbour.

Loved the little town of Tobermory and the hotel is right in the middle of everything. Lovely staff and great breakfast.

The room was cozy but not exactly quiet. We could hear floors creaking and at least two people snoring. Thankfully it settled down early but...

Lovely location but expensive for what it was.

The location was excellent right on the sea front. The downstairs area is recently refurbished and is very welcoming.

Our room was very small for two adults. We were only staying one night which we were glad about as there isn’t a lot of storage for longer stays. the room is quite dated and had some water damage by the window. The toilet is modern and nice but the shower pressure wasn’t great at all. As we were staying right before the season started (1 week early) we feel that we paid premium but didn’t get to experience the hotel at its best. We paid £200 for room only and didn’t feel £30 for breakfast was good value for money. We went to a local store on the Main Street for breakfast instead.

Poor

One night and no breakfast for £170 was not good value for money. Bed was not comfortable - mattress very hard and lumpy. Slight step up into the bathroom was a trip hazard.

A very memorable stay, cosy, comfy hotel with lots of atmosphere.

Breakfast was great, very good choice. Lovely atmosphere especially with the log fire on. Very nice to have lots of hot chocolate sachets and bottles of water in our room.

Great place to stay in Tobermory and we would unhesitatingly stay there again

location, friendly and helpful staff and lovely food.

The room was quite cramped and the wifi didn’t work properly in it.

Felt very welcome. The staff were perfect.

Beautiful location, lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful and appropriate. Loved the gin and tonic.

Hard to say. Maybe a slightly bigger bedroom next time, with a sea view.

Good location and for an old building it was fine with some nice touches.

Single room was probably smallest I’ve ever stayed in anywhere was was ok Breakfast wasn’t included and a little pricy at £15 so I skipped it wifi was hopeless and considering Tobermory is the main hub on the island it should be better as it is elsewhere on the island

The hotel is in an excellent location and rooms with a sea view have an unbeatable vista!

fabulous location with very efficient staff. the food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent.

It was a bit noisy when guests were returning to their rooms late at night.

Lovely place. I’ve already recommended it to others (despite the terrible pillows!)

I was lucky to have a room with a view over beautiful Tobermory garbour

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were awful Large dense spongy, impossible to sleep on . I wish they provided alternatives on the bed.

Very good

Location was fantastic, right on the waterfront. Food was very good although a number of dishes were unavailable.

Room was very small, especially for the price!

Location on waterfront. Lovely island, amazing scenery especially with the sunny weather we had. Good public transport from nearby.

Having to pay £15 per person per day for breakfast when online info said this was included.

Great cosy wee hotel.

The location was central, the bar was beautiful, the outside seating area overlooked the harbour, the breakfast was delicious and the staff seemed nice.

The room was really small but was expected from reading other reviews, the WiFi didn't quite reach my room and I had to reconfigure the TV myself as it was only broadcasting radio channels. But generally it was a great place to stay.

The hotel itself was very quirky with a fab bar and restaurant - good location to be in central Tobermory and views of harbour pleasant

Rooms quite small and very expensive for what you get ie no breakfast - shower room also small

we stayed in one of their houses which was simply excellent. we have stayed at the hotel twice before and we will be back. The staff couldn't have been more helpful/
