Overall a great stay and great location.
I would have loved to have more tv watching freedom by connecting my phone to the tv. Pre-warning about water pressure of the taps in the bathroom. No birdlife to wake us up in the morning. Face- & handtowels, including bodywash, shampoo, etc. not for two people.

The heating was good as was the set up. The port and chocolate were a nice touch. It was a very comfortable clean cottage.
Not much. There was a funny smell which we couldn’t quite pinpoint but wasn’t overwhelming. Having firewood as an extra charge was disappointing but for this stay we wouldn’t have made much use of it anyway, though it would have been nice to have had it included in the rates.

Didn't have breakfast. No bickies. The quietness was wonderful.
The bed was too high for the elderly.
There was a trip hazard at the front door because of a curled up mat.
The steps coming away from the front door were not regulation height.

Being able to watch tv from the spa was good, the spa worked fine. Functioning heater for warmth and provided enough crockery. Clean bed.
It was a little too small and crowded, the sink functionality was hard to use, the power went out in the first night and also no hot water later in the night after the use of our first spa from earlier on. There was a supply of tea and coffee however only 1 tiny milk container provided but no butter or complimentary spreads that could have made the experience better and more thoughtful.
