A beautiful apartment, not cheap, but with a wonderful roof terrace

A beautiful clean apartment with a wonderful roof terrace. Fully corresponds to the photos. The location is great.

There are some disadvantages that people wrote about in reviews a few years ago: the window handle is broken, the floor on the terrace was a little bit broken. The kitchen is equipped with a huge amount of household appliances that we did not need, but there are no knives, corkscrew and wine glasses. We were not prepared for the fact that, having paid a large sum for the apartment, we would go to the store to buy a corkscrew and kitchen napkins. We left the corkscrew to the owners. I hope it will help the next guests.

Disappointed

The location is great. The property has the potential to be a charming and unique space but is in a state of disrepair.

It was NOT clean. Although they quickly came to give the bathroom and kitchen a once over, many of the furnishings were dirty and broken. The terrace was not usable as the wooden platform was broken with exposed nails. The bathroom had an ant problem and mold in the shower. The only working light in the kitchen was in the storage area. We had one small roll of toilet paper for 4 adults for 3 days. Would not recommend unless maintenance and repairs are performed.

Great location and balcony.

Great location and the balcony is lovely.

Had ants in the kitchen and blocked shower which nobody came out to take care of.

Pretty view over the city of Lisbon

The location is great, the terrace is brilliant. The view is BEAUTIFUL if you climb to the top. The big bedroom is good, the small one is nice too but would be nicer to be able to open the door for better ventilation. Support from the agency is great.

The bathroom was a bit dirty. The water didn't flow down. Bedding is not good quality, makes you very sweaty.

Pleasant

The flat is just in the center of the city, next to everything you may need.

While it may be ideal for a summer rent, since the heating relies only on air condition winter rentals may be disappointing. The house needs some renovation since the presentation is important for a visitor. As told in the other reviews, no soap, no shampoo, no forks and spoons (bought paper ones from a market). The Living room may need a proper cleaning, (take away the old furnitures and buy a new one) and the water canal at the balcony should be well cleaned since the remains of cigarettes of the other visitors were stuck there.

Disappointing

The location

With the roof sloping, not very practical flat , unless for midgets ! For a flat for 4 , it feels extremely tight . The AC in the living room was spilling water in the living, as no proper drainage available and in one bedroom, there is no AC and In the second one, the AC worked haphazardly... The noise in the street is horrible all night because of the pub/restaurant The george below the flat. Besides, you would better check if the construction works in the opposite building are over before you decide to take the flat: workers start at 6am and are very noisy.
