A beautiful gateway to the ceynotes and off the beaten path. We stayed here 2 nites as an ender. We upgraded to the lil apt with air conditioner. The pool and outdoor kitchen next door was a treat! An outdoor library was perfect for 2 teachers on their honeymoon! swoon. The “whats app”for communication to the host in the “off season “was very sweet. ( she was able to work with us on arrival / departure times) As it was very hot and we had a timing gap. The common areas was very quiet. Some traveling contractors making lunches in morning in outdoor kitchen. They were very polite. I also recommend Carma for airport transfers. ( very organized outfit) They picked us up from ferry too after 5 nights on Isla Mujeres.
Great stop over -nothing amiss. The apt was not in pool area. ( next door) overlooking lil street and empty lot. Not remarkable but lotza light and very cute.

The owner is French, very friendly and helpful. He waited for us after check-in time which is really appreciated
We found a cockroach in the shower as soon as we arrived after a 15-hour trip, and we couldn't shower. Furthermore, there's no real door separating the bathroom from the bedroom, which made the cockroach problem even worse. The property overall is quite dirty and dated; the room doesn't have a window, and we weren't able to close the bedroom door to go out for breakfast, despite following the host's instructions.
