The location
- the bed was horrible,

Simple but well-structured hotel. The private room was spacious, bright, and equipped with a large comfortable bed, a good desk for laptop usage, a fan, a well-working air conditioner, and a reliable hot shower.
Friendly staff and the included breakfast, though simple, was a nice touch.
Convenient location: very close to the central bus station (making it easy to catch a bus to Chichen Itza or the Tren Maya station) and surrounded by regional restaurants.
The room has a door that is theoretically a balcony, but it opens directly onto utility poles and street cables, making the space unusable. In the shared kitchen, some amenities need a replacement, such as the heavily worn-out plastic coffee cups and the kitchen sponge.
