Most amazing place in NZL. got luck to book Hugh’s place before my flight; it was warm and stylish, with all the items from all over the world
. Each room featuring a unique theme and delightful, unexpected surprises. After four or five glasses of wine, Hugh and I shared a lot of our travels and lives. It is truly inspiring to see how Hugh recovered his home so successfully after a blaze. I regret not being able to book a longer stay, but it gives me a reason to come back.

Hugh & Dwayne were super welcoming and helpful. The barn is beautifully decorated and the rooms are exceptionally comfortable. The included breakfast was also a lovely start to each day we spent there.
The location itself is gorgeous and has lots of quiet beauty to explore. Hugh was very helpful in providing us with some more info on activities, places to visit and places to eat in the area.

Everything! The fabulous and friendly host absolutely made our stay! The care and attention to the interior of both the common areas and the bedrooms reflects the pride and love that has been put into making such a beautiful setting for their guests. The delicious breakfast in the morning just topped off our lovely experience (Thank for accommodating my annoying dietary requests!). If we’re in the area again, we will, without a doubt, book here again.
