My husband and i had a lovely Birthday break in Puerto Del Carmen.

Room had all the facilities needed for self catering. Was very central to all local bars and restaurants. Ideally situated for all local amenities.

Teleurstelling....

Ligging , dicht bij centrum en oude haven.

GEEN balkon of terras. Foto's op site komen totaal niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Aan de overkant van de straat openbaar zwembad. In de weekenden om 15.00 uur gesloten!. Veel zwemlessen en trainingen. Gaf geen vakantiegevoel. We waren zeer teleurgesteld.

Pablo the host was friendly enough but the apartment was disappointing and I nearly cried to see it.

Location of apartment central to all the amenities.

Photos of apartment on line were completely misleading and bore no relation to the actual place which was like a tenement block with no outside amenity space. Broken shower fitting, chipped cup, tiny bedrooms, terrible beds and disgusting pillows and sheets. Toilet situated against a wall in mini bathroom so any large person would not have been able to sit down. Cupboards and fridge in kitchen and bathroom were full of half used and second hand items from previous occupants, some quite old and tatty. Even a half eaten yogurt left in fridge. You had to cross a public road to use the pool facilities which were lovely but open to a public membership so became very busy. The pictures on the web site were of a completely different apartment with beautiful balcony and large rooms so beware!

Für den Preis nicht noch einmal

Lage war gut . Kostenlose Nutzung der Sporteinrichtungen , sowieso Sauna Pool und Whirpool auf der anderen Straßenseite .

Achtung , die Bilder aus dem Inserat entsprechen nicht der tatsächlichen Wohnung . Wir haben den auf den Bildern gezeigten Balkon dann tatsächlich 2 Straßen weiter an einem anderen Apartment entdeckt . Für mich ein absolutes No-Go, da der Balkon ein Buchungskriterium war . Der Pool gehört zu einem Sportzentrum und ist eigentlich ständig belegt von Schwimmkursen also kaum nutzbar. Die Ausstattung in der Küche lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig , die Pfanne war bestimmt 5 Jahre alt . Wir mussten dann eine neue kaufen . Terrassenmöbel alt und nicht komfortabel, Sonnenschirm kaputt.

Perfect for us

Great size with so many facilities including pool towels and washing machine. Location was perfect between 3 beaches and close to shops and restaurants. Ten minute walk to port. Pablo was a superb host and looked after us well

Lovely apartment in a great location

The apartment is in a great location with lovely sea views from the balcony and sun all day. It was clean and well equipped. I used the lane swimming pool for training at the Fariones sports centre every day and it was exceptional. Everything you need is close at hand within easy walking distance. I also hired a bike for just 12 euro and cycled the wonderful seafront cycle path all the way to the capital where there was a lovely ambience and great shopping. The host is very helpful and super friendly. It really was an excellent trip.

Al bij al een goed verblijf gehad.

Toegang tot het sportcentrum was schitterend. Goede centrale ligging. Supervriendelijke contactpersoon.

Het terras/uitzicht was minder, parasol is aan vervanging toe. Het verblijf is een beetje nipt voor 5 personen. Keukengerei is ook afgeleefd.

Fantastic stay at great location.

The location of the property was excellent, close to all amenities but quiet at nighttime. The bed and couch were comfortable and the property had everything you could need for a holiday.

Private Oasis in the centre of PDC.

The location was very central to everything. A minute walk to shops and restaurants. The apartment was spotless and very private. There is a balcony with sunbeds that gets the sun all day. There is also a pool and gym across the road that you have access to as well.

Really nice accommodation with extremely helpful owner.

Located very close to the Playa Chica, but also to the main beach. Pablo is an extremely good host, super helpful, he even let us to take a shower at another apartment after checking out. Good value for money.

We had some sunbeds on the terrace, we would have prefer to have a table there to enjoy sunsets during dinners.

Overall Pablo is an excellent host and would consider booking again in future.

Pablo met us in person and gave an introduction to the property and the facilities including those at the health club we could use. Pablo allowed us to stay until departure and even arranged a taxi to collect us.

No lamp in one bedroom to use during night Second bedroom was a little small and quite tight for movement of cases

Really not what we expected the pictures made it all look much better than it was. Apartment quite grubby. We were met by a lady with absolutely no English never met the guy Pablo that every said was so kind ? Also we thought our apartment had a balcony but it was a terrace which ment door opened but nothing outside only drop of about 3 foot.

We thought it was a complex with a pool but the pool was across the road and it was a sports complex not a holiday accommodation pool. It closed early on Saturday and Sunday. There were no inflatables allowed, alot of swimming lessons etc. We seemed to be the only people on holidays there.

Fantastic Location and fabulous balcony

Location was excellent. Near everything. Fabulous Apartment, very close to the beach. Best balcony ever. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Air-conditioning in main bedroom wasn't great. However fan was provided and did the job for us.

Exceptional

We had a lovely holiday at this apartment. It was very close to everything, three minutes to the beach! The area is residential but very quiet. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in. The apartment is newly furnished and has everything. We had access to the gym across the road which we used every day.

Although we could see the sea from the balcony, it was over the tops of the residence in front of us. We were looking down to the back of the apartments which was not what we expected. However, it did not spoil our holiday as we got used to it. But don't expect fantastic views from the balcony.

Apart from the hiccup at the start where we had to make our own way to the apartment. Otherwise v.g.

Location was excellent. Access easy to harbour area and restaurants.

We had access to a swimming pool across the road by using smart card. Pool more suited to club members as lanes were always in operation. No easy access to pool I.e. ladder and not steps. Ok if your mobility is good!! Used the beach and sea which was within easy reach.

The owner was very helpful. Anything we needed he got it sorted. Fantastic location. Felt very safe and walking distance of old town and new town. Pool and facilities were great. Very near the beautiful playa chica beach It was Very clean and had everything you needed. My only negative was a small area of damp in one bedroom and the sliding doors had a lot of condensation.

Great Location, ideal for a short stay in Puerto Del Carmen.

The apartment is very central, in a great location, situated between the Old Town and the Strip/Beach area. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Great Pool facilities across the road from the Apartment, Pablo met us on arrival and was very helpful. Ana met us on the last day and we were able to leave our bags at her apartment as we had a flight later in the day. So overall we would highly recommend these apartments and we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing really, the Pool area was lovely but there was a lot of activity at times with diving training etc. There was no balcony or outside area at the apartment.

Superb

Apartment location was excellent. The layout of the apartment was good and Pablo was very helpful. He is an excellent host and made sure that everything was as we expected. The apartment is so well located with good restaurants nearby and very quiet. The beaches are very close to the apartment which we appreciated. No one overlooks the property and the balcony space is very good. We were very happy with the whole experience.

We weren't sure if the location would be OK as it didn't seem to be in the place advertised. It turned out to be better. Balcony furniture was not acceptable and Pablo changed the defective ones immediately. So in the end everything was good. Which just shows how the host can impact the whole stay . Well done Pablo

exactly as advertised!!!

Was more than happy with the accommodation! clean modern and had everything you would need! lovely welcome from Pablo with bottle of fiz and grapes!! he also let us leave our luggage until he very kindly gave us a lift to the airport! the accommodation is situated in a very handy situation! no hills to climb……. We will be back!
