This was by far the most up market of all the places we stayed. Stunning garden setting. Host fluent in English and could give us good advice. Bright large room.

The owner was very welcoming and the property is very clean. It’s away from the bustle of the busy city but close enough to reach the city easily. It was a very tranquil atmosphere in amongst the trees and birds, I really enjoyed my stay here.

I am so pleased that we chose Windy Ridge for our stay in Kandy. The location was great, far enough from the bustle of the city to be peaceful but close enough to access everything we needed. It was only a 20 minute downhill walk to the city. Our host Senaka was wonderful, he was very welcoming and gave us some great ideas for visiting Kandy. He arranged a wonderful tuk tuk driver and car driver Nuwan, who took us around Kandy as well as further afield. The Garden Room was a pleasant place to relax overlooking the beautiful gardens on the property. It was stylish, clean and comfortable. Mala cooked us delicious breakfasts as well as being available at the property for anything we needed. We appreciated Senaka’s bar and restaurant recommendation, Marinate, a short walk away with amazing views overlooking Kandy. We also witnessed a sound and light show there during a thunderstorm which was incredible. Everyone at Windy Ridge went out of their way to make sure our stay was as memorable as possible. Thankyou for everything.

Home stay. Clean. Good for a night stay
- pressured for an early check out
- average breakfast quality
- no staff to help with luggage to take down or up the stairs. Couldn't have asked the sr citizen home owner to do it
