Selyna is a spectacular host. Very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and makes yummy home cooked breakfast (plus fruit, bread, yogurt). I wish we planned early enough to have dinner with Selyna as well, perhaps next time.
Nice view from the patio, quiet neighborhood and a nice way to see how people live rather than just staying in hotels in the touristy areas of town. The caveat is that it's further from town and you may need a vehicle/tuktuk for most sightseeing.
We booked the budget room which was indeed... "budget". It's clean and functional, but seems a bit dated in places. Their upgraded unit is much newer and more spacious, so I'd suggest that for longer stays.
Not many outlets, though Selyna provides a power cable to help with this. Outlets are not universal so bring an adapter.
None of these are issues but more as FYI for a more seamless stay.

This property was very well looked after, we were treated like old friends by our hostess and dog Ollie who happily adopted us.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like - apart from the weather!

Selyna was incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay, she always had a little chat with us in the morning which was nice, and even upgraded our room for free as no one was staying at the same time as us. She made us a lovely and varied breakfast each morning which we enjoyed on the terrace whilst looking at the incredible view. She also contacted and arranged us a transfer to our next location for a great price. Her dog Ollie was super cute too!
The location was a bit further out of town, about 15-20 minutes walk into the centre but you could easily get tuktuks. It was worth it though, as the centre can be quite busy and loud, so returning to a quiet location with an excellent view was appreciated!

A beautiful home stay in close proximity to the city. Selyna was a wonderful host and prepared a lovely breakfast each morning. I would recommend this stay to all my friends and family.
