Very welcoming and comfortable hotel

Excellent value for money, very nice and helpful staff, delicious breakfast for a minimal price, safe and free car parking

For that price, it’s hard to ask for more than what’s offered.

Comfortable stay in Kandy

It is located along the street and is good enough for a one night stay. Bed was comfortable and staff were nice and welcoming.

- As it is located along the street, it was challenging for our driver to drop us since the parking lot is small. But of course, it can be done with a bit of patience. - Do note no elevator from 1st to 2nd floor. - Small bathroom and room. (No hair dryer for those requiring one) - No water bottle in the room. But you can easily refill your bottle from the main lobby area.

Great, exceeded expectations

The hotel is much bigger then you expect from the outside. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, the Pool on top is a big bonus. Also the breakfast is really good & freshly made, a big bonus! Would definitely recommmend staying here

We had a very enjoyable stay, the staff were excellent very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome

Large spacious room with comfortable bed and views over city. Small but nice rooftop swimming pool which was a lovely treat after a hard days sightseeing

Being on a busy road and near a mosque it was a bit noisy at times, but we knew this before we booked and for us it just added to the atmosphere of the city and wasn’t a problem.

Cannot explain the clarity and quality, one has to experience the same

It was exceptionally clean hotel with best of all kinds. Great hosts. I had dinner at the the hotel. Very tasty pork curry dish with string hoppers and lovely lentil curry. Money is no measure to value the service, quality, facilities and above all the clarity of good food. Lovely roof top swimming pool to add to the best in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Highly recommend this hotel but, don't be dissaponted as chances are the hotel could experience 100% especially during peak periods.

Very good

We stayed one night, good to stay as it is close to the train station. Very friendly staff and good driver Pali. They nicely decorated the hotel.

Better to take a room not on the street side when you are not used to sleep in a noisy environment.

right in the center, just a few meters away... pool on the top of the building, nice view onto the Buddha statue on top of the hill

some kids brought their food to the pool, but after a while they understood the situation

Lovely Hotel, great location and excellent value for money.

Modern Hotel, with great facilities - pool is small but fantastic bonus in city centre location. Easy to walk to lake and main tourist attractions. Staff very helpful. Excellent value for money

I like the hotel very much.

The receptionist and staff are helpful. The location is perfect. The toilet is clean and gets hot water all the time. I love it.

The room is smaller than I expect. There is no wardrobe in the room so i have difficulty to keep the clothes.

Great hotel in Kandy!

Good location, close to the city center and train station, friendly owners and staff, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, and lovely rooftop with pool. We really enjoyed our time at Sevana City Hotel.

Everything was great! A tiny thing to improve - the pool could have been a little bit cleaner :) But I still enjoyed it.

Great location & great people

Great location & staff were so lovely! They kindly upgraded us and the room was clean and spacious! would recommend this place. Near everything you need & just a walk away from the railway station.

the only thing was the smell coming up from the drains in the bathroom. was quite an unbearable smell but nothing major! would still stay again.

Really good place to stay in Kandy. The room was big and clean, everyone was really kind and the view from the pool on the roof is everything!!

Very good

I stayed in Kandy just for a night before catching the train towards Ella. The location is right in the middle of town, and a 10 minute walk to the train station which was convenient for me. Central Kandy is busy and noisy, yet it was mostly quiet in the room. Spacious, great bed, modern, huge bathroom - it was a lovely room. A rooftop pool, though small, was a nice treat.

Very good

my friend and I came late to Sevana City. even though they had finished serving dinner they made something especially for us as we were so hungry. They directed us to the nearest bank and it was the cheapest place we stayed - so near the train station for the train from Ella to Kandy. thank you so much! definitely recommend!
