Nice place with a great location, close to the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the city center. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good. A convenient place to stay in Kandy.

It was walking distance to the lake and the temple. (The street was eerily dead at night, though.) The breakfast was fine. The waiters at breakfast were nice.
I think some of the rooms haven't been maintained at all for the past 20 years. I think the A/C unit was 20 years old, and it did not work very well. I don't think the walls have been painted for 20 years. They were in the process of renovating one of the rooms (so the bed and furniture were in the hallway). Hopefully they will eventually renovate all the rooms.
