We were back to this hotel after 22 years. Although with the renovation it has lost some of its old appeal as a quite romantic place completely integrated in the country landscape, surely most of its beauty is still there.
Nothing in particular to say: the hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful and the facilitiestruly are excellent, let alone the location.
Just one single notation on the waiting times in the restaurant: the food is good, the staff friendly and the vista of the castle priceless. However perhaps the guest should be left to decide how long to stay seated in front of such beauty.... not practically forced to stay hours waiting for plates.... relax is one thing. Boredom and semi freezing is quite another... ;-)

Excellent location to see the chateau
We stayed here 3 years again and it was then a lovely experience hence why we returned. It has lost its shine. It needs improving and maintenance and it's understaffed in the restaurant and generally messy, unkept and so sad to see. No doormen, grubby carpets, unswept outside areas and not a very warm welcome. Such a shame.
