I am sorry to say this because the customer service at the Intercontinental hotel Philly Quoc is exceptional but the fact that only a small percentage of the bottom line staff speak a global language can create challenges (unfortunately this is not unique to the Intercontinental but it’s common across the Vietnamese hospitality industry )

The beach and the pool areas with plenty of sun beds
Food was limited if you are allergic to seafoods and pork.

The breakfast is very good with a wide selection and variety of food. It does take some time to get a table in the morning and you need to tell them to clean up the tables as they do not clean the tables straight away, hence the long wait. The swimming pool and proximity to the beach is great.
The staff need a lot more training especially the restaurant staff, they don’t understand the concept of serving spoons. We travelled with a big group and shared food together and each dish we needed to remind them to provide serving spoons, it gets very annoying.
