We stayed on the top floor in very spacious rooms with a balcony and amazing views. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. Excellent location and free parking (if you can get a space).
The hotel felt a bit soulless. The staff were very helpful when asked, but not forthcoming and over welcoming or warm. No offers of help to show us to our rooms with heavy bags. For a top price, very expensive room we missed the extra special touches. Nice toiletries, instead of screwed to the wall ones, breakfast included etc. All in all, it was fine, but it was very perfunctory - not very atmospheric or a sense of them going the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

The drinks in the bar were very expensive
We got woke up at 9am on the Sunday morning with a loud vibrating / drilling noise - I phoned reception & they said it was a fault with the water tank on the floor above us. It went on for over half hour.
We paid over £140 which seemed a lot with no breakfast included & in places the hotel could do with a refresh.
