Direct beach front 2 bedroom/one bath rental on beautiful Manasota Key. Lovely updated and furnished 2nd floor unit awaits your arrival that comfortably sleeps 4 people. The large wrap around windows provide a panoramic view from the spacious open concept kitchen and living area. There are plenty of accommodations for overnight visits from family or friends. The master bedroom features a queen size bed and guest room also has a queen bed. An outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off the sand after a relaxing day on the beach. We first visited Manasota Key a couple of years ago and it was so worth the extra drive to have the nice white sand and blue water. The beach is so quiet and private as there are no high rise condos or anything of the like on the key. Very little foot traffic going through, just those combing for shells and shark teeth! The park is at the end of the island and public beach up north from the house, so it is really only those living/renting those houses in the beach that are there. Allen the building manager was fantastic to work with, answering all my questions and sending extra photos to help me get a picture of the place so I could be sure I had everything to accommodate a young toddler. We will definitely be coming back!

Upon arrival the house was ready and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. There was a grill. The view of the gulf is spectacular. We had a great week and will return for sure :)

- Private beach: very few people walking back and forth, even on a week-end (the State Park on the South and the public beaches on the North are relatively far away).
House:
- Clean and big enough for a small family
- An extra shower: even though it's only 1 full-bath inside - there's another shower (with hot/cold water) downstairs (on your way to/from the beach)
- Kitchen/amenities are all there and working as expected
- Beds, linens are clean and good: mattresses are not too firm not too soft - just enough for a good night sleep
- Hot water is "endless": after an initial heat-up, it's practically "endless" (since the water heater is tankless)

I’m assuming that there are 2 bathrooms in the house if you count the one in the downstairs unit that we didn’t book, and febreeze took care of most of the cigarette smell. Neither of these issues really detracted from our enjoyment of the week.
We loved our week at this house, and have hopes of returning to the same house in Manasota Key in the future.

We've visited Manasota Key before, and we were eager to return for the beautiful, rarely crowded beaches, the proximity to Stump Pass State Park, and the chance to see diverse coastal wildlife. This home provided all we wanted and more for 3 adults and a small, energetic dog. The open layout & spacious, well-equipped kitchen made it a delight to stay in and cook homemade meals (supermarkets and pharmacies are about a 5-10 minute drive away) while enjoying an expansive view of the beach. The huge windows afford incredible views that blend the comfort of the indoor spaces with the scenic outdoor areas, and the landscaping around the home was lovely, as well. We appreciated having the fenced-in yard for games of fetch, & the large outdoor grill made it easy to cook hotdogs and burgers for quick meals. The outdoor shower made midday breaks from the beach clean & comfortable, and the balcony was great for cocktails and conversation. We loved being able to walk to Stump Pass after sunset for stargazing and potential sea turtle sightings! The washer and dryer located in the home were also very convenient, helping lessen the post-vacation blues without worrying about having to do loads of laundry once you're home :) There was also plenty of beach gear, including beach chairs, snorkel masks, floaties, and boogie boards. Communication with hosts was excellent before, during, and after our stay, and we got the chance to meet Allen - the property manager - who was kind, welcoming, & made us feel at home. We didn't have any issues, but we are confident that if any arose, they would've been promptly addressed. We highly recommend this property for families or groups of friends looking for a fun, relaxing, and laid-back beach vacation with all the comforts of home. We are already looking forward to a return visit next summer!
