Panorama Views

The accommodation is a bit uphill, so after finishing the Valbona-Teth hike, we had to walk another 20-30mins to get to the guest house. But it was totally worth it. It’s a basic but very idyllic accommodation with an amazing view where you can enjoy the tranquility of the alps. The host is very friendly and cooked us a really good, traditional dinner & breakfast.

Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner to be honest.

In order to pay I suggest to bring euros, no leks. Worst change in Albania when paying in leks (1 euro = 111 lek; in the rest of guest houses / hotels is 1 euro= 103/104 lek)

Very nice guesthouse with Mountain View. To be recommended

Very nice guesthouse with super friendly owner Mira. Fantastic view on the valley and mountains. Good food, all homemade with local products

Location is just across the main road. Also, consider that the guesthouse is about 2km from the village, something to consider when finishing your hike or when going for a drink or dinner . Price for dinner a bit above the average,

Great stay in a beautiful location with an amazing host and traditional experience. Would definitely reccomend

The family was beautiful, very kind and inviting. The food was delicious, traditional and with ingredients from the village.

Was in a quiet environment slightly up the hill, this provided great views but was about a 30 minute walk from the grocery mini market. Was still very central though with a beautiful view overlooking theth

Stunning house with a breathtaking view! The family were so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious.

Nothing at all! One thing to note is the guesthouse is around 20 minute walk up hill out of Theth which didn't bother us but could be difficult for people without a car/ after a long walk.

Cozy and relax place with a incredible view

We stay in guesthouse panorama and it was great! Mira and her children are welcoming and caring person. Perfect location, the food is all hand made (dinner and breakfast), eating in front of the mountains, the room was perfect, the guesthouse is more than clean and is really nice. The communication with Mira was perfect as she speaks a lot of languages. Strongly recommended

Amazing Stay with Surprisingly Good Bio/Homemade Meals!

Guest House Panorama was the pinnacle of the accommodations that we stayed in Albania! Here's why: 1. location: if you use Google Maps, it may show you the different long paths (we took this one as I completely forgot what the host Mira had sent me 😭 but actually there is a short cut so don't worry at all! Mira told me it's very quick if you take this shortcut. So make sure you take this shortcut unless you want to enjoy the views slowly while walking on the hill (it's a very smooth hill, it was very fine for me although I had severe knee pain from the hicking from Valbonē, so don't worry. And there is a spot where you can take wonderful photos of Theth as well!) Just like the name itself, this guest house has a nice panoramic view, so very worth it. 2. overall guest house: nice house made with stones, and wood inside and has an old-fashioned stove which warms up the living room area with a nice ambiance and warmth! 3. room: rooms are very cozy, with a comfortable bed/pillow/blanket! 4. bathroom: with a good supply of hot water you can easily melt down your tiredness from long hiking. Toiletries are also prepared! 5. food: Probably the best part, our host Mira prepared both the dinner and the breakfast with all organic, farm-to-home ingredients. They were genuinely the best homemade meals that we had in Albania. Freshly grown vegetables from the farm freshly made cheese with milk, the best vegetable stew that I've ever had so far, perfect filled peppers, well-seasoned meat with vegis, home-baked bread....everything!!!! We can eat quite a lot, but the quantity was very generous so I could not finish all the food we wanted!!!! If I go back, I will ask her to keep the rest for us for breakfast 😂 Breakfast is also amazing with a spectacular view of Theth, homemade plum and fig jams were crazy!! 6. service: Mira was amazing and very attentive! She was very quick to answer the messages and was very willing to provide everything we needed.

The view from the room was spectacular and the room was ok with plenty of hot water and clean.

We were cold the first night as there was no heating downstairs when having dinner so had to wear our coats. The paid dinner and breakfast were average.

Simply a great experience!

I have really enjoyed my stay at Guest House Panorama, even if only for one night. The structure itself is very beatiful, in a very peaceful place and surrounded by nature. The room was nice and clean. But most importantly, I was amazed by the kindness of the hosts: they really make you feel at home! I recommend in particular the deliciuous dinner and the great breakfast. Extremely nice quality/price ratio. All my best!

A homestay with a view that you don’t want to miss out on

The lovely family who takes care of this place and it’s guests, the beautiful, super breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere was so nice and we connected well with the other guests that we ended up sharing the meals with the whole group

Be aware that it is a still quite a walk when you come from Valbonë, however ask the hostess for the shortcut and you will be very happy when you arrive

The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The family running the hostel were extremely friendly and very helpful.

The location was far from the center of Theth so I had to walk a little to join the hiking paths.

Wow wow wow.

Wow, rarely have I met such warm-hearted and hospitable people. Family-run (mum and daughter) accommodation in a spectacular location in the mountains, with a breathtaking view. Even though we had not asked in advance, we were able to enjoy last-minute dinners. Simple, delicious, lovingly prepared, small dishes to share, and everything fresh. And so was breakfast, lovingly prepared and home-made. Always served with a smile. Small-scale accommodation where you can still have real contact with the other guests. I would definitely want to come back just for the owners! It was an honour to stay in your guesthouse.

Incredible Guest House and Host

We had an incredible stay here. The views from the house are stunning, the room was comfortable, and the host and her daughter were both so welcoming and helpful. The host pointed us to a shortcut to the hiking path. It was cool enough that you do not need air conditioning. The wifi worked well. The breakfast and dinner was the most delicious food we had in Albania! And it was all local to the area. Overall such a unique and wonderful experience.

Beautiful stay.

When it comes to rural stays, guesthouses will always win our hearts and Mira’s accomodation was exceptional. It was everything we needed after a tiring hike from Valbone: clean, quiet and comfortable with excellent views of the mountains. Her homemade breakfasts and dinners were divine and highly recommend you take the opportunity to try it. Above all, Mira and her daughter’s hospitality and kindness made the experience that much better and we truly felt like it was home for the couple of days we were there. I could not recommend Mira’s guesthouse more.

Beautiful house in a perfect setting. Friendly, helpful owner.

Beautiful scenery. Breakfast was delicious. we also ate dinner there and that was excellent, too. Mira and her children were all lovely. They even helped us out when we discovered our hire car had a flat battery, calling around until they found someone who could jump start it for us. House was spotlessly clean. Good shower. Unlike most places in Albania, there parking here is actually onsite.

My only (very small) suggestion for improvement is that a few comfortable seats outside to enjoy the view would be good. The rustic tables and chairs made from logs are great, but not comfortable to sit outside for long periods. And that view really can be admired for hours!

A superb stay.

This is one of the rare types of accommodation that we won't forget. The multilingual family are cheery, helpful, and absolutely delightful, and the guesthouse name is apt: the views are out of this world. Wonderful facilities: reliable hot water, good WiFi, exceptional food in enormous quantities and flexible for vegetarian diets. Onwards transport to Shkoder was organised for us with the minimum of fuss, and messages were answered promptly. Genuinely one of the best guesthouses we have stayed anywhere in the world. Thank you for having us.

The host and her daughter were very warm and welcoming, we felt at home at Panorama. The location is up the hill in the beautiful Teth but is absolutely worth it, because of the great view you have from your room and the terrace where you eat. Our room was very clean and provided all we needed to be comfortable during our stay in between walks in the Alps. A very fresh and tasty dinner and breakfast was made for us, only homemade and local food was being served. We loved our stay and would come again :)

we loved our stay here! we felt so well looked after and all our questions were promptly answered. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was amazing we ate both the breakfast and ordered dinner prior to arriving, these were delicious and the assortment of food we had was amazing. Mira showed us a shortcut into town and to the start of the Theth/Valbonë trail which was really helpful. Mira packed us a lunch instead of having breakfast on the day we hiked to Valbonë which was a life saver! we couldn’t recommend more.

Family house in the mountains.

Traditional Albanian home. The owner and her daughters are amazing hosts, super helpful and speak English very well. The rooms are spacious. The food is all home made and delicious! The view is also nice! The hostess makes some amazing home made jam !

It's not really a downside, but when you come on foot it's a bit of a hike uphill to get to the guest house from the village. Best take that into account.
